WINDOW TINTING COST
FOR HOUSE or BUSINESS
Window tinting costs are determined after we complete an on site evaluation of your home or office, and what type of tinting film is going to meet your needs. The best way to get an ACCURATE quote for the work is to call us for an appointment. We will come out and look at your project and produce cost estimate promptly. Contact us now.
RESIDENTIAL TAX CREDIT
You may be eligible for a tax credit when you apply tinting to your home or office space. Understand, that tax credits are different from deductions. Tax credits do one of two things for you. They either increase your tax return or reduce the amount owed. Some home owners can receive a tax credit of 10% of the cost of film up to $500. Only Certain films qualify for the tax rebate. Ask us more about this.
WINDOW TINTING PRICES FOR TRUCKS, CARS, RVs and BOATS
Window tinting cost varies from vehicle to vehicle depending upon the type of material used, the time it takes to complete the application and any customization. Window tinting types vary by the film you choose. Here are some things to considerr:
1. Heat Protection
There is a variety of heat protection offered for window tinting. Basic films provide as low as 30-40% heat protection. High-end films can provide great than 70%. Here in Durango & Farmington, temperatures regularly exceed 90 degrees in the summer months. To get noticeable relief, films must provide about 50% minimum protection. Your heat protection choice will drive the type of product you will choose. Heat protection is the biggest factor that impacts your costs.
2. Aesthetic Quality
Just look around - you will see vehicles that have the glossy, factory installed look and then there are others that have a dull after-market look. Some are shabby looking with bubbles and pealing, or fading. All of these factors can be avoided when you consider the product choices BEFORE you have your tint installed. Quality is a matter of opinion and preference. When you are in our tinting shop, be sure to view our film samples and ask us to put a piece of the window tint on your vehicle so you can see what that window tinting will look like before you decide.
Ceramic and Carbon films are the more expensive, high-end tints that can cost between $250-$500. These films offer greater appearance, heat protection and waranty against color changes.
Polyester dye/metal films are great for heat protection at a great price, however, dye/metal films have a basic after-market look. Expect to pay the window tinting cost of $150-$225 for a basic four door car. Many customers are pleased with results, the look and the lifetime warranty against “bubble, peal, crack, and distortion”, but no color change warranty.
